Finally got to ride on the icy Portage lakes two days over the weekend. Now everything is starting to melt.. yessss. Not sure when this happened, but I cant feel it!

Today Jon and I went to my grandparents house on the portage lakes for my grandmother's 80th birthday. The entire lake, and surrounding lakes were frozen. We were jealous of the dozens of dirtbikes, quads, and snow-mobiles racing around. We decided to dig up some old ice skates and give it a try. We didn't last very long needless to say. After that failed attempt, a hockey game with brooms, and boat oars took place. Today was excellent.

..Another all night drive with Danny, Jonny, Petrie, Don, Andrew, and the Oldman...

We arrived just in time to basically get arrested for stealing a shitty car while we waited for our motel. ..but I don't want to get into that. The days remained the same... sleep all day, skate all night. I'm ready to go back already... minus the thunderstorm.

After enjoying some early waffle house... Jon, Danny, and I went up to the Akron Park. Little did we know, the one and only Ben Shuber would be playing his accordion on top of the bowl... Eventually, we wandered down to check out all the goodies he had in his van. Souped up Nerf guns, hundreds of Nerf darts, the makings of a whole bluegrass band, and of course a chicken suit. After a little fun with a baseball bat, the rain came and we pack up to check out some thrift stores. As goodbyes were exchanged, his last words were... "good luck, I already cleaned them out." Joe Boneless.. one step ahead of the rest.

On another note, our evening concluded at Ryan's buffet.... Win!
